Each year we deliver nearly 4000 births care for hundreds of high-risk pregnancies provide thousands of outpatient visits and gynecologic procedures and support some of the smallest and sickest babies in Ontario. The Director of Operations will report to the Executive Vice President Chief Nursing and Health Professions Executive and working in close partnership with the Program Chief the Director of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across a large complex clinical portfolio. This pivotal dyad leadership role provides strategic and operational leadership across a large complex clinical portfolio driving performance advancing quality and operationalizing program ambitions. |
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical and financial operations across inpatient outpatient and NICU services
- Develop and execute program strategy aligned with hospital priorities
- Drive quality improvement patient safety and Accreditation readiness
- Build high-performing interprofessional teams
- Represent the Program regionally and provincially
- Partner internally and externally to advance integrated models of care
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
You are a senior healthcare leader who thrives in complexity and believes operational excellence enables clinical brilliance.
- A Masters degree in Health Administration Nursing or related field
- 510 years of progressive leadership experience in a complex healthcare setting (Director-level preferred)
- Experience in academic health sciences environments
- Strong financial and strategic acumen
- Demonstrated success leading change quality improvement and system transformation
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative decisive data-informed and energized by innovation
