JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for monitoring the performance of Attractions and Aquatic Operations Team Members to ensure safety compliance through monthly safety assessments while documenting coaching and recognizing safety performance and while ensuring proper execution of all standard operating procedures are being upheld throughout all Attractions Operations venues.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor conduct and complete safety assessments for all Regular & Casual Attraction or Aquatic Operations Team Members monthly. Document results and provide documented feedback and recognition for individual safety performance. Escalate unsatisfactory assessment results to Attractions and Safety management team for immediate follow up and resolution.
- Support the Assistant Manager Attractions Safety to research define and document safety measures to identify improvement opportunities and to resolve issues to include providing feedback for annual review of Attractions Operations venue SOPs.
- Support the development and implementation of new or modified operating policy and procedure by monitoring the Attractions Operations Team Members for consistent execution to include content rolled out in segment trainings.
- Encourages safety best practices throughout all Attractions Operations venues by participating in venue shift meetings and attending venue evacuation drills/refreshers.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of Lead and OJT training experience required;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience working in Attraction or Aquatic Operations.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and large group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.
