Job Summary
About the Role
The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department with research document preparation and administrative legal tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate/legal operations and offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel and cross-functional partners to assist with ongoing legal matters and special projects.
What will you do
- Conduct legal research on statutes regulations case law and industry-specific compliance matters
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts agreements and internal legal documents
- Support document organization file management and contract tracking systems
- Prepare summaries memoranda and reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with compliance audits and policy updates
- Support litigation preparation including discovery organization and document review (if applicable)
- Attend internal meetings and take notes on legal discussions as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal team

Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Pre-Law Political Science Business or related field) or Juris Doctor (JD) program. (2L preferred)
- Strong research analytical and writing skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Licenses Registrations Certificates
- Valid state motor vehicle operators license
- Prior internship or work experience in a legal or corporate environment
- Familiarity with legal research tools
Location & Commitments
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to prod handle feel or reach.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand walk and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus vision.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
