As a Software QA Engineer whilst being technical and hands-on capable you will oversee and input to all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices developing new testing solutions and methods and establishing metrics. Managing the successful delivery of projects will require you to plan coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. This will include working closely with the departments Product Managers coordinating with QA and developers as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.
This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities including the opportunity to influence the future direction of the department and systems used across the business.

There is a strong possibility that this role will also take on Scrum Master responsibilities which may account for approximately 10 to 20 percent of the overall workload. These responsibilities may include facilitating Scrum ceremonies supporting sprint planning and retrospectives removing impediments and helping the team continuously improve its delivery practices.
Prior experience as a Scrum Master is not required although it would be considered an advantage. What is essential is a willingness to learn and develop Scrum facilitation skills with the support and guidance of peers.
