We are currently recruiting experienced Underground High Voltage Electricians to support surface and underground mining projects in the Olympic Dam and Roxby Downs region. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified HV Electricians seeking stable long-term work on a lifestyle-friendly roster.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality HV electrical installation maintenance and construction works within both surface and an underground mining environment. This role is available on a FIFO (ex Adelaide) or DIDO basis offering an 8/6 roster with camp accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in:
- HV jointing terminations and splicing
- HV switching (current certification required)
- Underground and construction electrical works
- Cable tray installation (300mm tray with manufactured bends)
- Switchboard terminations
- SWA cable glanding
Highly Desirable:
- Mining and/or construction industry experience
- SA Registered PGE Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years High Voltage experience
- Senior First Aid and Low Voltage Rescue / CPR
- Strong knowledge of HV switching systems and fault-finding techniques
- Working at Heights ticket
- EWP High Risk Licence
Rosters & Conditions:
- FIFO (ex Adelaide) or DIDO options available
- 8/6 roster to support work-life balance
- Camp facilities provided
- Ongoing underground and surface project work
