Responsibilities

As a Junior Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-impact energy projects. With guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers and project managers your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the planning coordination and execution of electrical and energy projects.
• Supporting project managers with scheduling reporting cost tracking and documentation.
• Contributing to technical reviews design coordination construction support and commissioning activities.
• Liaising with clients contractors consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Assisting with risk management and compliance activities including understanding regulatory and safety requirements.
• Preparing reports briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participating in site visits to gain hands-on experience and practical exposure to project environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with a genuine interest in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelors degree (or near completion) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and learn.
• An interest in high voltage systems and renewable energy projects.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative consulting environment.

While prior industry experience is advantageous it is not essential. Comprehensive training and development opportunities will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Day-to-Day

Your day-to-day activities will include:
