GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificate
• Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry or hydraulic excavator industry essential.

• Current Standard 11 a current open drivers licence and relevant coal mining certifications
• Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Auto Electrician-

• Perform the servicing repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures
• Complete general maintenance breakdowns services and component change outs to a high regard
• Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
• Provide high-quality installations including mountings wiring and testing of equipment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Refrigerated handling license advantageous
• Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry or hydraulic excavator industry.
• Experience in general service maintenance breakdowns component change outs and proper diagnostics Computer system JDE OEM computer-based systems Cat Cummins Hitachi and Liebherr.
