Senior Digital Product Owner Digital Claims
12Month Max Term Contract / Secondment
Location: Sydney Melbourne or Brisbane
Are you passionate about creating seamless digital experiences that genuinely improve customer outcomes Join our Digital Customer team as a Senior Digital Product Owner Digital Claims where youll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering digital claim experiences across our customer platforms.
About the role
The Digital Customer team enables and supports customer interactions through websites authenticated web portals mobile apps and integrated platform services such as identity payments and AI.
As Senior Digital Product Owner Digital Claims you will provide delivery leadership and business ownership for key digital claims assets and experiences including Make a Claim My Claim Manager and the One Portal. You will focus on prioritisation requirement elaboration and delivery of features across Digital Claims applications while supporting the broader business to bring new capabilities to life within the Digital Claims ecosystem.
Senior team members act as role models supporting junior product owners promoting strong collaboration and ensuring adherence to risk compliance and agile delivery standards.
Our goal is simple: empower customers to confidently complete claim tasks online stay informed throughout their claim journey and achieve timely resolutions without needing to call.
Key responsibilities
Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned to Tribe strategy and company objectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather prioritise and refine requirements based on customer experience and business value
Own and maintain the product backlog ensuring clarity prioritisation and alignment with sprint goals
Partner closely with business stakeholders portfolio teams designers user testing and development teams to deliver highquality features and enhancements
Use datadriven insights and customer feedback to validate assumptions and inform decisions
Support sprint planning backlog refinement and sprint reviews with Agile teams
Track KPIs and report on product performance adoption and return on investment
Troubleshoot and resolve customer support tickets related to Digital Claims assets and products
Mentor junior product owners and contribute to continuous improvement of product management practices
About You:
Tertiary qualification in Business eCommerce Information Systems Marketing or a related discipline (desirable) or equivalent professional experience
Digital and financial services industry experience (mandatory)
35 years experience in a digital or eCommerce environment ideally within insurance
Proven experience delivering complex digital solutions with measurable business outcomes
Strong track record of building collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Experience or strong interest in payments and identity management
Personal qualities
Strong passion for digital service and customer experience
Calm patient and composed approach in all stakeholder interactions
Structured logical thinker with high attention to detail
Resilient mindset with the ability to find or craft solutions to complex problems
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear actionable communication
