Job Summary

Were the team that shows up to stabilize the situation and start putting lives back together. Were looking for someone who isnt afraid of hard work doesnt mind getting dirty and actually cares about doing a job right.

If youre dependable can handle a on-call schedule and want a job where you arent stuck behind a desk this is for you.

What the Job Looks Like

Youll be the boots on the ground on every job. Youll be working under a Crew Chief to get homes and businesses back to normal.

Load the trucks prep the gear and get the right supplies to the job site.
Youll be extracting water removing damaged drywall cleaning up soot/fire damage and setting up drying equipment. Youll follow the SERVPRO playbook to make sure the job meets industry standards.
We dont leave a mess. Youll make sure the job site is cleaner when you leave than when you arrived.
Youll help keep our trucks and warehouse organized and our equipment ready for the next emergency.
Youll stay in constant contact with your Crew Chief and the rest of the team to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What Were Looking For

You can follow directions and talk professionally to a homeowner who is having a bad day.
If youve done restoration or cleaning before thats great. If you have IICRC certifications (WRT) even better. If not well train the right person.
You show up on time every time.
High school diploma/GED a valid drivers license (must be able to drive a commercial van) and the ability to pass a background check.

The Reality of the Role (The Tough Stuff)

This is a labor-intensive job. Youll be on your feet all day climbing ladders and working in tight spots like crawlspaces or attics.
You need to be able to lift 50 lbs. on your own and up to 100 lbs. with a partner.
Youll be around dust chemicals and occasionally some pretty bad odors. We provide the PPE but you have to be okay with the environment.
Standard hours are the baseline but emergencies dont follow a clock. Youll be part of a rotating on-call schedule. When the call comes in for a flood at 10:00 PM we go.
