DescriptionResponsible for proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws regulations policy directives and ethical requirements for Quest Diagnostics lines of business.
Responsibilities- Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned for coordinating all aspects of the audit process including risk assessment discussions communicating with the laboratory/region/function (including opening and closing meetings) directing the audit team through the audit compiling the preliminary audit report working with the laboratory/region/function to remediate allfindingsand reporting status updates by the end of each month.
- Audit specialist for assigned audit for performing assigned audit protocols for all scheduled audits in a timely manner and working with the policy guardian(s) and functional owners to evaluate and update audit protocols on an ongoing basis.
- Deep-Dive for the performance ofspecialized audits as needed.
- Project for the performance of special projects as needed.
- Process for working with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives as needed.
QualificationsRequired WorkExperience:
- A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliancebillingor medical technology
- 3 years proven project management skills
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of potential violations
- Knowledge of test pricing CPT coding and reimbursement processes
Skills:
- Proficiency in Access ExcelWordand Outlook required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Excellent leadership abilities integrity trustworthiness commitment resilience highenergyand motivation
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
