Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager in a reputable established multi-home organisation. You will hold overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Childrens Home and accountable for the delivery of a high quality of service provision incorporating care welfare safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base. Supporting leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children with their physical psychological emotional & social development. The home is an existing home with a Good Ofsted Rating.
Your key responsibilities as the Registered Service Manager:
- Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of an Assistant Manager you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration.
- Responsible for the leadership management and operation of your service supporting children and young people.
- Through your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviours work towards the progression and development of the children we look after
- Set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
- Mentor and support residential support workers to be the best they can be
- Work in partnership with external agencies
What you need:
- A Level 5 in Leadership and management (Children and Young People)
- Good knowledge around Childrens Homes regulations (2015) Childrens Homes Regulations including the quality standards
- At least 3years experience within a childrens residential homes and 1years experience at a Senior level
- A Full UK driving licence
Benefits:
- Benefits:32 days A/L which includes Bank Holidays- this will increase by a day for the first 3 years
- Ofsted Bonus: 3000 for an Outstanding report and 1500 for a Good report
- Other: Company car/ travel allowance of 3000 pa
- Occupancy: Full occupancy- 300 per month
