Job Summary

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager in a reputable established multi-home organisation. You will hold overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Childrens Home and accountable for the delivery of a high quality of service provision incorporating care welfare safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base. Supporting leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children with their physical psychological emotional & social development. The home is an existing home with a Good Ofsted Rating.

Your key responsibilities as the Registered Service Manager:

Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of an Assistant Manager you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration.
Responsible for the leadership management and operation of your service supporting children and young people.
Through your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviours work towards the progression and development of the children we look after
Set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
Mentor and support residential support workers to be the best they can be
Work in partnership with external agencies

What you need:

A Level 5 in Leadership and management (Children and Young People)
Good knowledge around Childrens Homes regulations (2015) Childrens Homes Regulations including the quality standards
At least 3years experience within a childrens residential homes and 1years experience at a Senior level
A Full UK driving licence

Benefits:

Benefits:32 days A/L which includes Bank Holidays- this will increase by a day for the first 3 years
Ofsted Bonus: 3000 for an Outstanding report and 1500 for a Good report
Other: Company car/ travel allowance of 3000 pa
Occupancy: Full occupancy- 300 per month
