Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end underwriting support for UK Lloyds business across lines of business (Property Casualty Specialty etc.).
- Review and process submissions endorsements renewals cancellations and policy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Lloyds and UK regulatory guidelines.
- Perform data validation rating checks and premium calculations.
- Manage bordereaux processing and reporting.
- Maintain underwriting systems and ensure accurate data entry.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Handle stakeholder communication with onshore underwriters and brokers.
- Track SLAs KPIs productivity and quality metrics.
- Support audits and compliance reviews.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of underwriters/analysts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7 10 years of experience in UK insurance underwriting support specifically Lloyds market exposure.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting processes policy lifecycle and insurance terminology.
- Experience working with Lloyds systems (e.g. PPL Atlas DCOM if applicable).
- Familiarity with bordereaux management and delegated authority business.
- Good understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in team handling and performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to multiple lines of business (Property Marine Specialty etc.).
- Experience in process transition and client migration projects.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (preferred but not mandatory).
