Job Description

Based in Sweden at our headquarters in Uppsala you will join our RnD Product Care team at Olink part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects innovations and investigations in an environment dedicated to scientific excellence.

Your main assignment and responsibility will be to participate in projects/investigations resolve technical challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The content of the projects usually varies and is linked to both innovation development technology as well as up- and downstream processes QC and production.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments
  • Analyze large amounts of data and present it visually
  • Solving problems and perform troubleshooting to identify efficient solutions
  • Engage in technical discussions propose new hypothesis that support problem-solving and drive decisions related to product improvement
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to successfully achieve our goals
  • Summarizing results in technical reports and presenting conclusions

Qualification and skills

  • PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences
  • Strong knowledge and relevant experience with molecular biology proteomics and immunology
  • Detailed lab experience
  • Good skills in data analysis with R and/or Python
  • Previous experience in molecular biology techniques and protein characterization
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data
  • Good knowledge in bioinformatics and statistical methods
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a group
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
