Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a skilled Procurement Consultant to support end-to-end procurement activities including RFX development vendor evaluation and contract management. This role requires strong experience in public sector procurement stakeholder collaboration and compliance with government policies.
Key Responsibilities RFX Development & Procurement Strategy- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project objectives
- Analyze and refine business and technical requirements
- Prepare RFX documents and supporting materials
- Identify subprojects requiring separate procurement processes
- Support vendor communication and respond to RFX inquiries
- Design evaluation frameworks scoring methodologies and selection criteria
- Review vendor proposals for compliance accuracy and completeness
- Prepare award recommendations and supporting documentation
- Coordinate bidder conferences and vendor presentations
- Support vendor debriefing processes
- Assist in contract finalization with selected vendors
- Conduct post-procurement reviews and vendor performance evaluations
- Document lessons learned and procurement outcomes
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract records
- Manage procurement data in 1GX / Ariba systems
- Maintain audit-compliant records in SharePoint and corporate systems
- Ensure real-time updates of procurement documentation and communications
- Relevant post-secondary education in procurement supply chain or business
- 4 years of procurement experience (RFX development and execution)
- 4 years experience coaching or supporting junior team members
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- SCMP certification or equivalent
- Experience with trade agreements and public sector regulations
- Contract management experience (3 years)
- Stakeholder advisory experience
- Experience in cost-benefit and procurement analysis
