Job Summary
Job Title - Payment BSA
Location - Toronto ON
Role Description:
Key Responsibilities Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for payment system enhancements. Gather analyze and document requirements related to SWIFT messages (MTMX formats) ISO 20022 migration and cross-border payment workflows.
Support design and implementation of solutions in compliance with SWIFT standards and industry regulations.
Analyze payment data flows and ensure interoperability between core banking systems payment gateways and SWIFT infrastructure.
Collaborate with architects developers and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of payment-related projects.
Conduct gap analysis prepare functional specifications and perform system impact analysis. Support testing (UAT SIT) by preparing test cases validating payment messages and ensuring accurate end-to-end flows.
Provide subject matter expertise on payment industry regulations compliance and messaging formats.
Monitor SWIFT and ISO industry updates and support organizational adoption of standards.
Required Skills Experience:
Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the payments domain.

Familiarity with cross-border payments clearing settlement and correspondent banking processes.
Strong knowledge of payment flows (RTGS SEPA CHAPS Fedwire SWIFT gpi etc.). Excellent requirement gathering documentation and functional specification skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRAConfluence.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
