Role Descriptions: Job Description Business Systems Analyst (BSA) SAS to Python Migration SpecialistRole OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to lead the migration of legacy SAS processes to modern Python-based solutions. This role will act as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring seamless transition of complex business logic while maintaining alignment with operational compliance and performance ResponsibilitiesStakeholder Collaboration Facilitate communication between technical teams (developers data engineers) and business process owners to translate SAS-based workflows into Python Logic Extraction Analyze and document existing SAS code macros and analytical processes to identify critical business rules data dependencies and validation requirements for Sign-Off Management Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and secure formal approval from stakeholders prior to Knowledge Transfer Create user guides process flow diagrams and training materials to support post-migration operations and ensure Assurance Support Collaborate with QA teams to validate system functionality identify defects and enforce adherence to financial services compliance Skills Qualifications3 years of business analysis experience in financial services or data-intensive expertise in SAS (Base Macros SQL) and hands-on experience with Python (Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn) or similar tools for data analytics migration SQL skills for data validation querying and with system migrationmodernization projects including requirements gathering gap analysis and stakeholder with financial analyticsreporting systems and regulatory standards (e.g. SOX GDPR).Exceptional communication skills to simplify technical concepts for non-technical in process documentation (e.g. BPMN flowcharts) and quality assurance methodologies (e.g. AgileWaterfall testing cycles).Preferred QualificationsCertification in business analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA) or data science (e.g. PythonSAS certifications).Prior involvement in SAS-to-Python migration projects or legacy system of version control (Git) CICD pipelines or cloud platforms (AWSAzure).
