Job Summary
Our client is urgently seeking an experienced and dedicated RC Rig Operator to join their operations in Bindura
Salary and Benefits:
- Negotiable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rig in a safe and efficient manner to achieve drilling targets.
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine preventative maintenance on the rig to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all drilling operations are conducted in strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor drilling parameters and record accurate data on daily drilling logs.
- Manage and maintain all associated drilling equipment and tools.
- Work collaboratively with the drilling team and site supervisors to meet operational objectives.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable technical proficiency in the operation of RC drilling rigs.
- Strong commitment to safety and following standard operating procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues on the rig.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a remote site team.
- High level of attention to detail for data recording and maintenance logs
Qualifications and Experience:
- A formal qualification is not a prerequisite; experience in operating the RC Rig itself is the primary requirement.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an RC Rig Operator.
