This position reports to:

Project Finance Manager

In this role youll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

You will have the opportunity to drive all financial activities within multiple small-scale projects or a single large project. Each day you will act as a business partner to the Project Management team supporting all financial and commercial matters. You will also showcase your expertise by actively driving the projects performance.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#Li-Hybrid) in Houston TX.

Your role and responsibilities:

Providing input to negotiations on commercial issues during local risk review process and on the financial aspects of the project execution plan.
Preparing project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting).
Driving and seeking for the optimization of project cash flow revenues and gross margin contribution and effectively managing currency risk and bonds guarantees and tax issues.
Ensuring the accuracy of project balance sheet income and cash flow statements and monthly/quarterly forecast and participating in opportunity/risk identification monitoring risk mitigation measures and ensuring they are timely implemented.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting requiredand professional certifications preferred: CFA ACCA CA CPA or CMA
3 years of relevant professional experience in finance accounting or project controls
Proficient in SAPand Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required as well as Power BI proficiency preferred

Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical brainstorming and communication skills able to clearly articulate financial concepts and drive process improvement and standardization.
Selfmotivated relationship builder with proven networking and stakeholder management experience consistently driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
