LEAP Site Coordinator - Early Childhood Elementary School
Under the supervision of the LEAP Director the LEAP Site Coordinator provides leadership plans curriculum and coordinates supervision of the LEAP Before and After School Program and Summer Programming. The role will also include oversight of the Enrichment Program during the school year beginning in a future term to be determined.The LEAP Site Coordinator is passionate about educational excellence and empowering confident teachers. The LEAP Site Coordinator will ensure quality services providing growth in academics creativity social emotional development and health and wellness. Site Coordinators are committed to making their programs safe and successful and know that important relationships with children families and their team are critical to success.
Communication and Collaboration
- Maintain clear consistent line of communication with families program staff and administration
- Develop strong relationships with families enrolled in the programs
- Collaborate with school personnel to best meet the needs of children and ensure the program works with the values of the schools
- Coordinate snacks with Food Services
Program Planning and Development
- Build and manage fun creative engaging and educational curriculum
Management and Operations
- Ensure compliance with EEC regulations
- Coordinating scheduling and staffing
- Ensure the safety of all students at all times
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Manage all student accounts; registration schedule changes and processing payments
Budget and Finance
- Assists with the development of an annual site budget and ensures successful execution
- Purchase supplies based on curriculum needs
Human Resources
- Develop and conduct all staff meetings
- Oversee payroll policies and operations for all site employees
- Conduct staff observations supervision and performance appraisals for the site
- Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction
- Create a staff environment that is child-focused and supportive of each other
- Work with the LEAP Director and Human Resources Department to hire excellent staff by managing the interview and hiring process includingtraining orientation
- Other responsibilities as needed
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit (at times on the floor with children) and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust.

- A creative self-starter who brings wisdom perspective confidence and excellent problem solving skills to the position
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- The ability to foster positive relationships with all constituencies in a school environment through excellent oral and written communication skills
- A positive outlook and a sense of humor
The following experiences are preferred (but not required):
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in child management related field
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week
