Department Description and responsibilities
As Site Superintendent at DEME you will organise and optimise the operational planning and execution of works based on the (internal and external) client s needs and in line with the contract project plan and budget in order to contribute to efficient realisation of project activities within QHSE-S standards and within time and budget.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

From April to July 2026 responsible for the on-site supervision of the Direct Piping subcontractor GDI with a primary focus on mobilization and preparatory works. Duties include overseeing and coordinating all initial site activities in compliance with project requirements and QHSE standards. Key responsibilities during this phase include:
-Supervision of subcontractor mobilization activities.
-Monitoring and enforcing QHSE procedures in accordance with project and client standards.
-Supervision of site establishment including laydown areas and temporary facilities.
-Coordination and supervision of access road preparation.
-Oversight of pipeline mobilization offloading handling and storage activities.
-Supervision of the preparation of drilling pits including sheet piling works.
-Daily reporting of site activities progress and issues to the project team.
-Acting as the primary interface with the client s site representative (RWE) ensuring clear communication alignment on site activities and prompt resolution of site-related matters.

As of August 2026 continuing in a supervisory role during the execution phase of the works with responsibility for overseeing GDI s drilling operations. This includes ensuring safe and efficient execution of the direct piping works compliance with approved methodologies and QHSE requirements coordination with the client and other stakeholders on site and ongoing progress and performance reporting.

Technical profile requirements
-7 years experience as a Site Superintendent on construction or marine projects.
-Previous experience as Site manager is a plus
-Strong technical background and planning skills.

Non-Technical profile requirements
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Methodology/Certification requirements
-Valid UK Passport
-Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or construct management.

Language proficiencies
-Fluent proficiency in English is required (written and spoken).
-Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
