General Superintendent Field Operations (Concrete & Civil)

Fulltime

Livermore CA

Position Summary:
The General Superintendent directs field operations for paving grading barrier and architectural construction. They plan work manage crews subcontractors QC and drive project execution to meet safety quality and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop daily and weekly paving and grading plans
Lead field crew scheduling subcontractor oversight and production tracking
Coordinate survey needs for layout and grade control
Adjust daily trucking material handling and crew assignments
Prepare and review Extra Work tags for field events outside scope
Order and manage materials (rebar dowels cages plates etc.)
Conduct quality control walks and corrective actions
Interface with agencies owners and inspectors in the field
Approve and submit daily reports and timecards
Participate in budget/production reviews with PEs and Project Managers
