Maintenance Superintendent
Location: Denison Iowa USA
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Compensation: $100000 $130000
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing Maintenance Supervisors driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Maintenance Supervisors and maintenance teams on 2nd shift
- Ensure equipment uptime through effective maintenance execution
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and PLC issues
- Manage staffing scheduling and resource allocation
- Drive KPI performance (downtime efficiency yields)
- Lead continuous improvement and TPM initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA USDA HACCP and company standards
- Conduct shift meetings and enforce procedures and safety standards
- Coach and develop maintenance teams
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations or related field
- 3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing
- Proven experience managing maintenance operations and teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong people leader with experience managing supervisors
- Background in food or protein processing industries
- Proven ability to improve efficiency safety and team performance
- Comfortable working in fast-paced high-demand production environments
