We are hiring a hands-on Construction Foreman to lead field operations for a specialized contractor focused on infrastructure repair and structural rehabilitation projects. This role will oversee daily site activities across projects involving concrete repair structural strengthening waterproofing and protective coatings.
The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership experience and is comfortable managing crews on active job sites involving bridges parking structures roadways and other critical infrastructure assets.
This is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for execution productivity safety and quality on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for concrete and structural repair projects
Lead crews performing concrete forming placement finishing patching and repair work
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and project specifications
Plan work schedules assign tasks and manage manpower effectively
Track productivity including manhours per task and progress reporting
Prepare and manage short-term project planning (look-aheads)
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and job site compliance (OSHA)
Monitor quality of work to meet project specifications and client expectations
Coordinate with project managers engineers inspectors and subcontractors
Maintain daily logs site reports and progress updates
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skill development
Maintain organized and safe job site conditions
Key Qualifications
3 5 years of experience in concrete construction or structural repair
1 2 years of experience in a Foreman or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of concrete forming placement finishing and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proven leadership and crew management experience in field environments
Solid understanding of construction safety practices (OSHA knowledge preferred)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in fast-paced physically demanding job site environments
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid drivers license required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with infrastructure projects (bridges parking garages DOT work)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience with concrete patching coatings post-tension (PT) repairs or structural strengthening systems
Familiarity with specialized repair materials and rehabilitation techniques
