Job Summary

An established law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate Attorney with strong transactional experience. The role involves supporting and managing complex mergers and acquisitions transactions while working closely with senior attorneys and clients.

The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of experience handling M&A transactions in a sophisticated corporate law environment. Experience advising companies in innovative or high-growth industries is considered valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from initial structuring through closing

  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence processes

  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents including purchase agreements and ancillary documentation

  • Work closely with partners and clients on complex corporate transactions

  • Assist clients with strategic acquisitions investments and exit transactions

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Graduation from a highly ranked law school with strong academic credentials

  • Minimum 3 years of mergers and acquisitions experience in a corporate law practice

  • Prior experience working in a large law firm environment

  • Active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission

  • Excellent drafting analytical and negotiation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams within complex transactions

  • Stable employment history with consistent tenure in prior roles
