Job Summary
The role is a contract position with a desired start date of April 13 2026. It is initially for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension. The opportunity is with a retail client in Raleigh NC offering a hybrid schedule.
Sr. IT Project Manager Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of large IT projects ensuring on time on scope and high quality delivery.
- Partner with cross functional business and technical teams to drive program workstreams.
- Facilitate workshops (business configuration requirements) and manage JIRA/Confluence boards.
- Provide weekly status updates risk/issue reviews and input into integrated project plans.
- Apply PMI methods risk management and governance standards of IT PMO.
- Lead medium to large teams including offshore/nearshore resources.
- Communicate project health and risks to executive leadership.
Technology PM experience managing IT projects
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Risk management and mitigation expertise
- Experience managing medium to large teams
- Oracle project experience (ERP data environments)
- Agile project management experience
- PMP certification (preferred not mandatory)
- Location: Hybrid must be within commuting distance to Raleigh NC
- Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST occasional early meetings with India teams
- Interview Process: 2 rounds via Teams scheduled through Beeline
