Location: Erie PA 16531 (100% Onsite - 5 Days/Week)

Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Project/Program Manager with a deep background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and process transformation. This is not a traditional auditing or quality specialist role. We need a driversomeone who has experience in software engineering projects and can bridge the gap between high-level compliance (ISO/CMMI) and day-to-day engineering execution.
The successful candidate will lead the development deployment and optimization of software engineering processes to enable world-class product quality. You will identify process gaps manage the roadmap for documentation updates and coach engineering teams on industry-leading development principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Engineering & Deployment: Develop and deploy robust software processes tailored for Control and Software Engineering teams ensuring alignment with organizational standards (CMMI/ISO).
- Gap Analysis & Strategy: Perform rigorous risk/gap analysis of existing documentation. Identify necessary process additions or modifications to ensure superior product quality.
- Project Management: Create and execute comprehensive project plans for process updates. Prioritize tasks based on resource availability and business impact reporting progress through KPI dashboards.
- Audit & Compliance: Lead process audits for ISO and CMMI standards ensuring the organization remains compliant while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Training & Change Management: Identify training needs develop educational materials and lead workshops to ensure process adherence and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coaching & Troubleshooting: Act as a mentor to software engineers helping them troubleshoot process bottlenecks using Lean Six Sigma and modern software development principles.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8 years of experience in Project/Program Management specifically within Software Development environments (strictly no manufacturing-only backgrounds).
- Methodologies: Mastery of the end-to-end SDLC and heavy experience with Lean / Six Sigma and CMMI frameworks.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to speak the language of software engineers. You must understand the nuances of coding testing and deployment lifecycles.
- Quality Management: Proven track record in a Quality Management System (QMS) within a large matrixed organization.
- Tools: * Expertise in Project Management tools and KPI reporting.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with PowerApps Power BI or Python for in-house tool development and data automation.
- Leadership: Exceptional skills in leading educating and coaching cross-functional teams through organizational change.
