Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.
Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
Operates film processing equipment.
Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patients bedside.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.

Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided) business casual with a lab coat basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed toe shoes-sneakers or clogs. Hair worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length no dangling earrings.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Multipliers (OT Holiday): 1.25%

Requirement description :

1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting - Required
MUST be proficient/highly experience with the following; Fluoroscopy Digital Radiography Portables & OR c-arm - Required
MUST have experience with ALL ages groups - Required
Previous travel experience - Preferred
NH MIRT REQUIRED! Temp available with a FAST turnaround for those who carry an equivalent state license.
This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

New Hampshire

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NH MIRT must be in hand at profile upload OR must show proofs of current state license to use Reciprocity
Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend/Holiday coverage required if needed/scheduled
