• Wednesday: 2:00 PM 8:30 PM
• Thursday: 8:30 AM 8:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) for a 13-week contract assignment in New York NY. This role requires a skilled professional who can produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and adherence to established radiologic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures using proper techniques
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal image quality
• Follow radiation safety protocols including shielding and exposure control
• Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
• Review and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy
• Accurately document patient procedures and maintain medical records
• Monitor radiology equipment performance and report issues as needed
• Maintain inventory of radiology supplies
• Adhere to all facility policies procedures and regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Flexibility to work variable and extended shifts
• Proficiency in English (reading writing and speaking)
