Job Summary
CERTIFIED SURG TECH100 MILE RADIUS RULE8hr DaysShift: 7am-3:30 pmWeekend call and holidays required13 weeksMay be asked to precept new staffMust be certified!NBSTSA or NCCT certs onlyApproved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room to work within an Operating Room candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in.
