Job Summary (Software Quality Assurance Technical Lead Phoenix AZ)
- Lead the design development and implementation of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Enhance and maintain existing functional testing frameworks and BDD methodologies (using Gherkin syntax).
- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development product DevOps) to define requirements test strategies and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications APIs and other software components using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
- Implement robust reporting mechanisms for test results and quality metrics (e.g. using Grafana or similar tools).
- Drive best practices in software quality assurance including test case design defect management and root cause analysis.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software testing and automation.
- Participate in code reviews for automation scripts and framework components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both test and production environments.
- Contract-to-hire role; must be eligible for full-time conversion (no visa sponsorship available).
