Job Summary

Production Support Engineer / SRE

Location: South Jordan UT Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / Week)

Duration: 6 months Contract-to-Hire

Interview Process: 1st Round Virtual 2nd Round In-Person

On-Call: 1 Weekend per Month

Overview

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer (SRE) to support critical trading and risk systems within the OTC Derivatives Margin & Collateral Management team.

This role involves hands-on production support incident management and automation of manual processes ensuring stability and risk control across trading platforms.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux

Strong SQL querying skills (real-time data analysis)

Experience with DB2 or Sybase databases

Proven experience in Production Support / Incident Management

Scripting experience using Python or Shell

Understanding of Trade Lifecycle in financial systems

Experience with batch processing systems

Familiarity with Autosys

Background in financial services (big plus)

Soft Skills

Strong communication and articulation skills

Ability to work effectively as a team player

Clear and confident communication with stakeholders
