- Facility Information:
- Location: 10628 Park Rd. Charlotte NC 28210
- Size: 337 licensed beds
- No trauma designation; not a teaching hospital
- Accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center
- Traveler must live 50 miles from facility

- Unit Details:
- 13 ORs 1 Procedure/Cysto room
- Average 45 cases/day
- Minimum 2 years OR experience in specialty required
- First-time travelers accepted

- Patient Types & Common Surgical Cases:
- Main OR:
- Orthopedic (joint replacements arthroscopies fractures)
- Spine (fusions laminectomies stimulators)
- General surgery (lap chole appy hernias colon resections trachs PEG port-a-cath)
- Colon/General (colectomies hemorrhoidectomy fistulas)
- Breast (lumpectomy mastectomy)
- Podiatry (debridement amputation)
- Urology (biopsies TURP cystoscopy nephrectomy)
- Robotic (chole hernia colectomy nephrectomy prostatectomy)
- GYN (hysterectomy oophorectomy cystectomy D&E)
- Plastics (breast reconstruction reduction brachioplasty)
- CVOR:
- Cardiothoracic (CABG AVR MVR myomectomy)
- Vascular (fistula carotid bypass thrombectomy pseudoaneurysm repair)
- Thoracic (VATS robotic lobectomy pericardial window)

- Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS required
- Accredited Surgical Tech program completion required
- National certification preferred
- Experience scrubbing ortho cardiothoracic vascular general urology robotic GYN colon breast spine podiatry plastics
- CVOR: strong/recent experience with CABG TAVR vascular thoracic

- Support Staff:
- 6 OR assistants (room turnover stocking positioning tables)
- Receptionist/HUC charge nurse 24/7 anesthesia/CRNA

- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- IV pump: Alaris
- Med dispensing: Omnicell
- Monitors: Phillips

- Floating:
- Not specified

- Orientation:
- Main OR: 1 week
- CVOR: 2 weeks
- Five 8-hour shifts; alternate schedules require manager approval
