Registered Nurse Medical Surgical (Nursing), 56hr, Springfield, GA

Shift: Night Shift (19:00 07:00)

Contract Length: 6 Weeks (Full-Time)

Compensation: $56.00 per hour Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)

We are looking for a dependable and clinicaly-focused Med-Surg RN to join our team for a short-term 6-week engagement. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and a stable environment within a community-focused hospital. We prioritize manageable workloads and patient safety; our unit maintains a strict maximum ratio of 1:6 often trending lower due to current census patterns.

• Provide comprehensive bedside care to a diverse adult patient population with various medical and surgical diagnoses.

• Perform head-to-toe assessments monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to implement and update individualized care plans.

• Document clinical findings and patient progress accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the night shift responding promptly to patient needs.

• Manage a patient load of up to 6 patients with frequent opportunities for lower assignments during low census periods.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).

• Licensure: Active unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a Multi-state Compact license.

• Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting.

• Skills: Strong critical thinking communication and time-management skills.

• Rate: Flat $56.00/hr (Non-negotiable).

• Commitment: 36 hours per week guaranteed for the duration of the 6-week contract.
