| The National Strategic Planning & Analysis Research Center (NSPARC) at Mississippi State University invites applications for an Android Mobile Developer. The successful candidate provides assessment and programming support to the analytic staff in modeling designing developing coding maintaining and testing of modern data- intensive mobile applications. |
| Required Skills/Experience |
| Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. These requirements will be transferred to the Score Sheet and candidates without these requirements reflected on their resume will NOT be presented to the manager for consideration. |
| Acquire knowledge of programming procedures and standards. Design code and test application software as well as modify existing software to reflect changes in functional requirements. Code efficiently while adhering to established programming standards. Prepare and maintain quality documentation to manage program development and revisions. Prepare instructions and user documentation for users / operators. Modify programs to increase operating efficiency. Prepare test data and validate software for accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or related area. List of Important Skills and Competencies:
* Software development with a focus on Object Oriented Analysis and Design * Java Kotlin for Android development and Android SDK * REST Graph-QL JSON * Unit tests and Bug Fixing * Understanding of OOP * Knowledge of architecture patterns: MVC MVP etc * Development tools: Android Studio |
