Position: iOS Developer
Role Overview
The iOS Engineer is responsible for designing building and maintaining high quality native iOS applications for enterprise and consumer use cases. This role owns the full iOS development lifecycle-from architecture and implementation to security packaging and release readiness-while collaborating closely with product design backend and security teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical ownership a focus on quality and security and experience delivering production grade iOS applications in regulated or large scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
iOS Application Development
Design and build native iOS applications using modern Apple frameworks and best practices.
Translate product requirements and designs into scalable maintainable mobile solutions.
Implement clean architectures that support long term extensibility and performance.
Platform & Security Ownership
Own iOS specific security and compliance requirements including:
Secure credential storage (Keychain)
App sandboxing and platform security controls
Secure handling of user data and authentication flows
Ensure adherence to Apple platform policies and internal security standards.
App Packaging & Release
Manage the iOS build signing and release lifecycle including:
Xcode archiving validation and App Store Connect uploads
Managing certificates provisioning profiles and versioning
Ensuring compatibility with required iOS SDK and tooling versions
Implement App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and privacy disclosures when applicable.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive mobile experiences.
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams while maintaining clear ownership of the iOS application layer.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Quality & Maintainability
Write well structured testable and performant code.
Conduct and participate in code reviews.
Proactively identify and resolve performance stability and usability issues.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience developing native iOS applications in a production environment.
Proficiency with Swift Xcode and the iOS SDK.
Experience with secure mobile app development including authentication and data protection.
Hands on experience with iOS app packaging signing and distribution.
Ability to work independently with clear ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building enterprise or internal facing mobile applications.
Familiarity with API driven architectures and backend integrations.
Experience working in security or compliance sensitive environments.
Strong collaboration skills across product design and engineering teams.
