The client is looking to have someone join our team as the Hatchery Maintenance Technician at our Wilton IA this role you will work with the Maintenance lead to provide assistance in projects and everyday task relating to maintenance. Task include monitoring and repairing all hatchery equipment along with mechanical systems within the building while following all safety biosecurity and animal welfare policies. You will work with management and maintenance lead to ensure hatcher systems are functioning. This role involves being able to respond to emergency alarms after hours and participating in a rotating on call this role you must have the ability to lift and carry 80 lbs. must be able to work in varying environment and must be able to be respirator certified.
Candidates with a technical degree or certification from an accredited college/technical institute and a minimum of two years experience are preferred. Candidates must have a strong electrical background with experience in plumbing HVAV electrical boilers motors pneumatics and mechanical repairs. Spanish speaking bilingual skill preferred but not required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must have the ability to learn and utilize an internal database and interna company programs.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical systems: 1 year (Preferred)
