Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Milling Setup Operator at American Photonics located in Sarasota FL. The CNC Milling Setup Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines ensuring high-quality production of parts. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings selecting and setting up appropriate tools conducting quality checks and maintaining machinery to ensure smooth operations. Collaboration with the production team and adhering to safety guidelines are critical aspects of this position.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Machine Operation and Milling techniques
Strong skills in Machining processes including setup and troubleshooting
Experience in Quality Control for ensuring product consistency and precision
Knowledge of technical drawings specifications and operation of machinery
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-accuracy outputs
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Prior experience in CNC machining is highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in machining or a related field are a plus
