QA Testing Analyst IV

Project Overview

Client is seeking an experienced QA Testing Analyst IV to support quality assurance activities across complex enterprise applications. This role focuses on validating business requirements developing comprehensive test strategies executing test cases and managing defects across the full testing lifecycle. The position works closely with product owners developers business analysts and Agile teams to ensure application quality stability and successful releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Review analyze and validate business requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to define test strategies test plans and testing objectives.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases test scripts and test scenarios where applicable.
• Document testing activities including execution logs defect reports and test results.
• Manage defect tracking triage and reporting throughout the entire defect lifecycle.
• Work closely with product owners developers business analysts and Scrum teams within Agile sprint cycles.
• Support troubleshooting by reproducing issues reviewing logs and validating bug fixes.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure system stability.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on testing best practices tools and QA processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in QA testing or quality assurance roles.

Technical & Soft Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with functional testing integration testing SOA/WS testing data warehouse (DW/ETL) testing and Java backend testing.
• Hands-on experience working in both Agile (Scrum/Sprint) and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Proficiency with QA and project management tools such as JIRA Client ALM Rally or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle) and working experience in Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and ATDD/BDD methodologies including writing Gherkin scenarios.
• Experience with API testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern QA tooling.
• Experience testing cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with Anaplan including model validation test scenarios data validation or connected planning workflows.
