Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Senior Financial Analyst to join the North America (NA) Visa Direct FP&A Team. This role will support core financial planning activities including performance analysis budgeting forecasting multiyear outlook development and management reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing monthly and quarterly financial results identifying key drivers and trends and preparing insights for senior leadership.

Over the past several years the NA Visa Direct FP&A function has evolved from primarily maintaining financial drivers to providing deeper analytical support across programs and use cases. This role will contribute to that continued evolution by supporting longterm growth initiatives including diversification of use cases and expansion of crossborder programs. The growing scale of the business has also increased the need for enhanced programlevel reporting and more robust forecasting processes.

The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with partners across the businessincluding Account Managers Sales Digital Partnerships and the Product Officeto support the expanding needs of NA Visa Direct. The role requires strong analytical capabilities attention to detail and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

The position reports to the NA Visa Direct FP&A Lead and is expected to support accurate driver management efficient reporting and highquality financial analysis as the business continues to scale.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The role will support indepth revenue and volume analysis including:

• Contributing to performance diagnostics budgeting forecasting multiyear strategic outlooks and management reporting
• Analyzing monthly and quarterly financial results identifying key variances and trends and preparing insights for senior leadership
• Supporting driver modeling including seasonality (e.g. ATS) and helping streamline reporting processes
• Participating in business meetings to build understanding of operations and provide datadriven insights
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to integrate business plans operating structures and strategies for NA Visa Direct
• Supporting the development of strategic insights using usecase analysis to help inform growth opportunities for NA Visa Direct
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and support implementation of operational enhancements
• Building strong partnerships with NA Visa Direct stakeholders to ensure alignment and support business objectives

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA  JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 3 years of combined Finance and Accounting experience or at least 2 years of with an Advanced Degree prior experience in FP&A preferred
• Experience in budgeting forecasting business performance analytics
• Foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers acquirers processors interchange merchants cardholders etc.)
• Ability to build impactful relationships and effectively communicate with management to influence results and able to work within a dual-reporting matrix structure
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with business leaders in global and regional function
• Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed well-reasoned decisions independently using strong business judgement
• Team oriented collaborative detail oriented and flexible with excellent presentation skills oral and writing capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling (Excel) and presentation building (PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude in Excel Claude Code or comparable solutions along with Hyperion Tableau and Power BI is preferred

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 129200.00 to 206700.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
