Position: HR Generalist I
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Peachtree City GA 30269
Work Type: Temporary Assignment
Job Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday - Friday 8-5
Job Description:
  • Administers and coordinates programs within multiple functional areas of the human resources department which may include employment training performance review benefits 401k payroll HRIS personnel record maintenance and others as specified.
Duties:
Benefits Administration
  • Administer all employee benefits programs and ensure timely system updates for enrollments changes and terminati
  • Serve as primary resource for employee benefits inquiries; coordinate with third-party administrators brokers and healthcare providers.
  • Resolve benefits-related issues and keep HR Management informed.
  • Reconcile and review monthly benefits invoices to verify enrollment accuracy.
  • Manage COBRA notifications billing classifications payment tracking and documentation retention.
  • Distribute benefits materials enrollment packets and related communications to employees.
HRIS Administration
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee data in HRIS following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Process new hires changes terminations compensation updates leave records and benefits data.
  • Run standard HR reports and generate custom reports as needed.
401(k) Administration
  • Administer 401(k) program including employee communications and form accuracy.
  • Conduct enrollment meetings and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Process enrollments changes terminations hardship withdrawals loans and rollovers; coordinate with vendors.
Training & Compliance
  • Develop training plans and maintain training records in the system.
  • Track completion and retention of required training to ensure compliance.
Employment & Compliance
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientations.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws and government reporting requirements; ensure policy compliance.
  • Update and maintain company organization charts.
  • Ensure required state and federal labor law postings are current and displayed.
Performance Management
  • Serve as point of contact for performance management system inquiries.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles notifications reminders and compliance tracking.
Payroll Coordination
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Address payroll-related employee concerns and distribute communications as needed.
Safety & Workers Compensation
  • Support site safety compliance initiatives and safety program implementation.
  • Maintain safety records and workers compensation documentation including claims files and L&I reports.
Experience: 1-3 years experience

Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
Receives instruction guidance and direction from others

Education: Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
