About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join a well-established family law practice in Watchung New Jersey. This is a full-time on-site opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex and emotionally sensitive legal matters.

In this role you will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters work closely with clients to understand their goals and provide strategic legal guidance throughout every stage of the process. You will collaborate with an experienced legal team while representing clients in litigation mediation arbitration and other dispute resolution processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive client-focused environment where attorneys are encouraged to take ownership of their cases and make a meaningful impact on clients lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee family law cases from initial consultation through resolution
• Draft motions pleadings and other legal documents with strong attention to detail
• Conduct depositions and prepare case strategies for litigation
• Perform comprehensive legal research to support case development
• Represent and advocate for clients in family law proceedings
• Provide clear compassionate and strategic legal advice to clients
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff to ensure high-quality legal service

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Family Law and handling a range of legal issues
• Proficiency in drafting motions and legal documents
• Experience conducting depositions and performing detailed legal research
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work empathetically with clients
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey
• Prior experience in family law is strongly preferred
