Position Overview

Tekberry is seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators / Warehouse Operators to support our client at their Spiers New Technology battery lifecycle management facility in Oklahoma City. This site specializes in the refurbishment repair and logistics handling of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries.

This is a hands-on warehouse logistics role within an industrial production environment. The position involves operating forklifts and warehouse equipment to move battery materials safely and accurately throughout the facility.

This is not a traditional pick/pack warehouse - candidates will work around battery components equipment and active production operations.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift to move materials and battery components throughout the facility
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Transport pallets between warehouse and production areas
Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Assist with inventory verification and documentation
Use pallet jacks carts and hand trucks
Coordinate with production and logistics teams
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Report damaged materials or safety hazards immediately

Required Qualifications

Previous forklift operating experience (recent and hands-on)
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment
Strong reliability and attendance
Basic computer skills (inventory updates and communication)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Safety-focused work habits

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift certification
Experience in manufacturing or automotive environment
Shipping/receiving or logistics experience
Experience working around mechanical equipment or production operations

Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive industrial facility. Employees should expect:

Constant standing and walking
Moving equipment and forklifts in operation
Warehouse noise
Dust and non-climate-controlled conditions
PPE requirements (safety glasses vest safety footwear)
Working near battery materials and production processes

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent bending stooping pushing and pulling
Walking and standing most of the shift
Safe operation of powered industrial equipment
