Job Description:
We are seeking a Database Administrator - Consultant to support the migration of over 300 SQL Server databases from SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2022. This role requires a hands-on approach to production support within the current SQL DBA team with an emphasis on onsite collaboration. Candidates should expect to be onsite five days a week to meet project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support SQL Server database migration and production environments.
Collaborate with the DBA team to enhance database performance and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance backups and recovery tasks.
Participate in on-call rotation and weekend hours as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure optimal performance.

Technical Skills Required:

Expertise in SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
Experience with database migration processes.
Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies.
Familiarity with on-call support and troubleshooting methodologies.
