Overview: This role is for a Junior Product Owner / Product Analyst who supports the development and enhancement of digital products that power our client-facing web platforms. This role partners closely with business stakeholders UX/design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences for clients across the firms asset management business.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business and digital stakeholders to gather document and refine requirements for client-facing web platforms and digital tools
- Translate business and user needs into clear user stories acceptance criteria and functional requirements with a strong focus on user experience
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams during backlog grooming sprint planning and prioritization
- Serve as a key liaison between business design and engineering to ensure alignment on scope functionality and user outcomes
- Support testing efforts including defining test scenarios coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) validating functionality and tracking defects
- Assist with release planning feature rollouts and post-launch validation for digital products
- Communicate progress risks and dependencies clearly to stakeholders across business and technology teams
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a Product Owner Product Analyst Business Analyst or similar role supporting digital products
- Hands-on experience delivering or supporting web-based platforms or client-facing digital experiences
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and working closely with engineering teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in asset management financial services or another regulated environment preferred
Skills:
- Digital product requirements gathering and documentation
- User story writing with a focus on client experience and usability
- Agile backlog management and sprint ceremonies
- Stakeholder management across business design and engineering
- Web platform testing UAT coordination and defect tracking
