Join Our Established Neonatology Practice in Oklahoma City OK!
Pediatrix is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join an established practice at a leading hospital in Oklahoma City. The selected candidate will provide coverage for two Level III NICUs enjoying a supportive community-oriented work environment backed by a robust hospital system. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collegial setting with a team of skilled professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs:
- Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City: 43-bed NICU with an average daily census of 29
- Norman Regional Hospital: 26-bed NICU with an average daily census of 14
- Services Available: HFOV jet ventilators and robust sub-specialty and MFM support
- Workload: Approximately 10 shifts per month with 24-hour shifts taken out-of-house
- Support: 24/7 NNP support and full back-up from the hospital team
- Encouragement for New Graduates: New fellows are welcome to apply
- Community Engagement: Contribute to a vibrant urban culture with outdoor activities
- Facility Collaboration: Work at Mercy Hospital and Norman Regional Hospital
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Oklahoma State License (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean malpractice/license history
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report
- DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start)
- Permanent Placement Fee acknowledgment
- No visa sponsorship available
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Oklahoma State License (or willing to obtain)
