Job Title: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Texas
Duration: 6 Weeks
Shift: Days 8 Hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term travel assignment in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing nuclear cardiology procedures and capable of managing a high-volume workload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures including nuclear stress tests and PET/CT stress tests
- Handle approximately 810 nuclear stress tests and 5 PET/CT stress tests per day
- Ensure accurate imaging and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain patient care standards and proper documentation
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine (required)
- CNMT certification upon hire or ARRT (N) certification (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience (within the last 3 years) in a clinic setting
- Hands-on experience in a nuclear medicine clinic environment
Preferred Skills:
- Strong experience in nuclear cardiology procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
