Seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in central Pennsylvania. This flexible opportunity allows you to provide meaningful hands-on patient care outside of traditional clinical settings with the ability to make a direct impact on patients lives.
In this role youll deliver in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators oxygen therapy and advanced medical equipment working with autonomy and clinical expertise.
Work Environment
This part-time role involves in-home patient visits within approximately one hour of Lewistown combining clinical assessment patient education and equipment management. Youll enjoy significant clinical autonomy with flexible scheduling collaborating with physicians and care teams while maintaining the freedom to balance professional and personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive in-home patient assessments
Provide clinical education on respiratory equipment
Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders
Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment
Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions
Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care
Participate in occasional home visits using personal vehicle
Support training and orientation of new clinical staff
Required:
Active RRT or RN licensure in Pennsylvania
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift patient equipment (up to 65 lbs)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Flexible availability
Preferred:
1 years clinical experience
Home healthcare background
Degree in respiratory therapy or nursing
Familiarity with medical equipment
Physical Demands
Lift and transport patient equipment
Driving within service area
Sitting standing walking
Close vision for documentation
Comply with N95 mask fit testing requirements
