Job Summary
As Senior Director of Product Engineering here at Honeywell Aerospace you will serve as a key enterprise leader responsible for defining the product engineering vision that drives innovation customer value and longterm business growth. You will guide product delivery teams elevate platform strategy and ensure the creation of scalable highimpact digital products. Your leadership will influence companywide priorities strengthen the alignment between product and technology and accelerate our ability to deliver differentiated solutions at scale. This role carries broad organizational visibility and is central to transforming how we build deliver and evolve products across the enterprise.
You will report directly to our VP IT and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute the overall product technology strategy of the organization.
- Shape the product portfolio roadmap by integrating customer insights business objectives and emerging technology opportunities.
- Build and scale highperforming teams through effective hiring coaching and talent development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
- Oversee product engineering budgets resource allocation vendor strategy and longterm strategic planning.
- Champion operational efficiency through modern development methodologies automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure product platforms meet high standards for scalability reliability security and performance.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
- Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery.
- Experience with engineering best practices quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in product engineering.
WE VALUE
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of experience in product engineering leadership roles.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Commitment to safety quality and compliance in engineering practices.
