The Manager Process Engineering will lead a team supporting sterile manufacturing operations within Sterile South (vial syringe and auto-injector lines).
A Day in the Life
- Lead 5 process engineers
- Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Support tech transfers and changeovers
- Drive process improvements and efficiency
- Collaborate with quality operations maintenance and engineering teams
- Mentor and develop team members
Keys to Success
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Chemistry Biology or related technical discipline
Experience
- 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with direct experience in sterile fill/finish operations (required)
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience leading engineers or technical teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Troubleshooting manufacturing/process issues on the floor
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience supporting tech transfer changeovers and new product introductions
- Experience partnering with operations to drive process improvements efficiency gains and performance optimization
- Exposure to equipment capabilities line performance and manufacturing constraints within sterile environments
