Your new role
AsaPharmacovigilance Manageryourleadershipwill shape how we ensure patient safety across our expanding portfolioandyoulllead safety operations in BrazilrepresentingNovo Nordisk to health authoritieswhilefosteringa culture of compliance and continuous your responsibilities will include:
Act as Local PVResponsible to Brazilian Health Authorities being available 24 hours for critical health authority contact andrepresentingNovo Nordisk in all pharmacovigilance matters.
Manageand develop a team of 3 direct reports fostering their growth while building a high-performing pharmacovigilance department.
Ensurethe Pharmacovigilance Management System for Brazilis wellestablishedensuring full compliance with both Novo Nordisk global requirements and local health legislation.
Serveastechnicaland strategic business partner for pharmacovigilanceandotherkey stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators conduct regular complianceassessmentsand implement measures to address any identified gaps.
Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacovigilance unit ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements
Providepharmacovigilance oversight of external partners.
Develop and implement improvement strategies to streamline processesoptimizeworkflow and enhance the overall quality and compliance of pharmacovigilance activities.

Your skills and qualifications
Weare looking for an experienced pharmacovigilance professional whopossesses:
University degree in pharmaceutical sciences medicalscienceor related field.
Previousexperience withpharmacovigilanceandtheability to manage complex safetyoperations.
Previoussupervisory or management experience withdemonstratedability to develop and lead teams.
Advanced knowledge of Brazilian health regulations and pharmacovigilance requirementsensuringcompliance while driving continuous improvement.
Proficiencyinboth writtenand verbalEnglishto collaborate effectively with global teams.
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities with the ability to detect business opportunities and adapt quickly to new situations.
Knowledge in therapeutic areasand/or biotech productsrelevant to Novo Nordisk.
Experience with regulatory intelligence activities and pharmaceutical registration databasesis aplus.
Advanced degrees such as PhD MBAMDor MScare differentials.

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
